In some cities, theft has become so rampant that people get their phones stolen straight out of their hands, leading many to buy lanyards and wrist straps, inspiring creative agency JOAN London to develop an “unsnatchable” phone case.
To encourage people in London to be more vigilant, JOAN London launched The Unsnatchable campaign with a dedicated website and creative content to bring awareness to the fact that a phone case is snatched every six minutes in the city.
The “unsnatchable” phone case wards off would-be thieves with a spiked cover. “At JOAN, we thrive on playing in culture and bridging the intersection of society, culture, design and humor,” said JOAN London ECD, Kirsty Hathaway, “The Unsnatchable is just that. A beautiful, if entirely impractical, solution designed to get noticed and create impact.”
